TERMS & CONDITIONS

When making a booking to be tattooed by an artist at The Wolf Shed based at 19 Church Hill, Selby, YO8 4PL, please be aware of the following:

Bookings with Neil Wolf Tattoo are made directly with The Wolf Shed Ltd.

Bookings made with Fizz Bomb Tattoo are made directly with the artist Elizabeth Weller.

Bookings made with Erin Crean Tattoo are made directly with the artist Erin Crean.


All artists are based in The Wolf Shed studio unless otherwise specified at the point of booking.


All our artists are fully licensed by Selby Council and are insured to work at the location known as The Wolf Shed at the aforementioned address.


Booking fees are required to secure an appointment with one of the artists at The Wolf Shed ; without which the slot will be offered to other clients and no design work will begin.


No other party has any rights under these T&Cs other than you (hereinafter referred to as the ‘client)’, the artist and the studio.


Nothing within these Terms and conditions affects a client’s statutory rights.


Please ensure that you can make the appointment prior to committing to a date.


Payment of a booking fee confirms a client’s understanding, acceptance & confirmation of the following:


• The client is aged 18 and above.


• The client has no knowledge of any reason, medical illness, or injury that would impede or affect their ability to be tattooed.


• The client is not pregnant or breastfeeding,


• Booking fees are non-refundable in any circumstance, except where a refund is required by law. Booking fees allow work to begin in preparation for your appointment/s by your artist selected. In the event of a cancellation the booking fees cover the artists time and art work associated with your booking.


• Designs and Tattoos are bespoke products produced by the artist/studio to a consumers specification, as such they are a none transferable product and therefore none refundable.


• A client will be provided with an estimate for their required tattoo/s. This estimate can be affected by the final design, size and placement of the piece chosen by the client on the day of their appointment/s, any additions and a clients ability to sit to be tattooed. Changes to the design and inability to sit may encounter delays and require additional appointments at the client's cost. Sleeves for example are affected by the size of the arm or leg. We provide an estimate based on average time taken, but a portrait for example, will require longer tattoo time, due to detail, than another tattoo of the same size. Please factor this in when booking and discuss with your artist (or their representative) if you require more information.


• Changes to the clients design concept, as submitted at the point of booking, will not be accepted.


• Designs are shared with clients on the morning of the appointment. Changes requested to the design may be added to ‘tattoo time’ and therefore charged at the artist’s rate.


• The design and stencil remains the property of the artist.


• In the event that the client is unable to attend the appointment on the agreed date/time, they will provide the artist with at least fourteen full and consecutive days’ notice, in writing, prior to the appointment date. Where multiple back to back sessions are booked this is extended to 28 days notice.


• Requests to reschedule an appointment, that are received less than fourteen days (or 28 days if applicable) prior to the appointment, will be treated as a cancellation and should a new appointment be required; this will incur a separate booking fee.


• Rescheduled appointments will be within 3 full months of the original appointment; or should no dates be available, the first slot after, to avoid incurring a new booking fee.


• Changes to the appointment date/time within the appropriate notice period will be accepted once. Thereafter it will be treated as a cancellation & the booking fee will be forfeited by the client.


• In the event a client cancels their appointment for any reason, the booking fee and any other sums paid are non refundable.


• A client can pay additional sums towards their appointment/s cost, if agreed by the artist/studio. Any additional payments (in advance) will form part of their booking fee; and the above terms and conditions will apply for the total sum; i.e. the full amount paid is non-refundable and forfeited in the event of a cancellation.


• In the unlikely event the artist is required to cancel your appointment, you appointment will be rescheduled for the soonest available appointment; the booking fee will be carried over to a new appointment date.


• The collection and use of the client's personal information will be subject to the privacy policy.


• Images taken of the finished tattoo/s can be utilised by the artist and or studio for their portfolio and online portfolio. The client agrees that these images may be used for printing, online promotions and campaigns; or in other ways required by the artist to display their work.


• Designs and tattoos will look different on different skin tones and types. Please be aware that the same image may look different on different people due to numerous factors. Should you require further clarification please message your chosen artist,


• Fresh and healed tattoos will look different. When first completed the ink sits in the layers above the dermis, which makes a tattoo look darker. During healing these layers peel away and the final tattoo itself sits in the dermis underneath the outer layer of your skin. Your skin tone can affect the visibility of the tattoo itself.


•Tattoo images will vary if taken by different cameras and lighting and when compared to the naked eye. We always try to best represent our tattoos and show variations of them in healed and fresh forms on social media and our website. Please ensure you are  familiar with the changes that can occur during healing. Photos may have had adjustment made to saturation levels to reduce redness in the image to allow you to see the intricacies of the tattoo itself.


• Aftercare is the final responsibility of the client. Products provided by the studio as a good will gesture, should be checked by the client to ensure they have no allergies to any ingredients and used correctly. Where the client has failed to follow basic aftercare advise, our touch up policy will not apply and charges will be applicable.


• Where touch ups are required, the artist must be notified within 4 weeks of the original appointment.


• Touch ups of hands, fingers, feet, elbows and necks are not included in the original cost of the tattoo,  these class as specialist areas, and a minimum charge is applicable. Please refer to the section entitled 'specialist areas' on our website, should this apply to your tattoo.


• Should your chosen tattoo be a coverup, whether of an old tattoo, lasered skin or scar tissue, please refer to the 'coverup/reworks' section of our website. Should you require further clarity please message your artist.


• Where the client would like to add to, or make change a completed tattoo, charges will be applicable.


• The full payment due, for the appointment must be paid at the end of the client’s session; before the client leaves the studio.


If you have a query about payment, please ask a member of the team.


Should the artist, and/or studio delay in taking steps against the client in respect of their breaking of the T&C’s or consent form, this will not mean that the client does not have abide by the points therein. Delay will not prevent the studio and/or artist from taking steps against the client at a later date.


Should any court or relevant authority decide that any paragraph of the T&Cs is unlawful; the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.


Vouchers


Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase and are none refundable in whole or in part.

They are not transferable to another party.

Vouchers have no cash value.

Vouchers can be used to make a booking, as a booking fee, at which stage the above T's & C's become applicable to the whole voucher value.


If you have any queries regarding these terms & conditions, these must be discussed & clarified with the artist or studio in writing, prior to booking. Acceptance of the terms and conditions for booking /payment of the booking fee confirms your understanding, acceptance & confirmation of the aforementioned terms and conditions and any associated information provided by our website/relevant artist at the time of your booking.
